On the 7th October 2008 the Action Group went to Parliament to listen to a debate concerning the changes happening in the South West and handed in petitions to 10 Downing Street.

From the 17th-22nd October 2008 the Action Group held open days and drop-in days to let members of the public know what is happening and had official response forms for the RSS to fill in.

On the 24th October 2008 the Action Group handed in all the Consultation replies from the local community to the RSS and held a mock-funeral for the Green Belt
