The Action Group is comprised entirely of local volunteers. Any, and all help from you is appreciated.

To volunteer please send an email to submit@saveourgreenspaces.org or come along to one of our friendly meetings (see below for venue).

We use all methods to keep you informed, Internet, leaflets and noticeboard which is opposite the cycle path carpark.

Please tell others who have not got a computer about this noticeboard so they can get up to minute information.

	I live in Stanley Road. I moved to the area 10 years ago. I became concerned about the Governments plan to concrete in our green spaces and got involved with the group because I wanted to know what was going on and try to stop it. 	I've had a life-long interest in wildlife and have worked in the environment both in the voluntary sector, The Avon Wildlife Trust (of which I am a member) and at Wick Court Centre working with under privileged children involving them in environmental studies. 	Stu I run a team of IT developers for a National Charity. I am a new, but very keen, vegetable gardener and am always happy to have a chat with a stranger across my garden wall. I spend any free time slowly restoring our new house. Sian I work in IT support for a loss adjusting firm in Bristol. I'm often seen trudging through mud in our garden with a spade or fork in tow. 	I have been employed in the printing/publishing industry for 34 years and now work from home developing auto-pagination software for books and scientific journals. I was brought up in Webbs Heath and returned to the area seven years ago where I live with my partner Ros, daughter Nicola, and our dog Ruth. You will often see us walking around Webbs Heath common and the adjoining forestry land. I became a member of Siston Parish Council around three years ago, not for any political reasons or ambitions, but because I am very passionate about Webbs Heath, its commons, and the surrounding green belt area. There is now a far greater variety of wildlife here than ever before and I do not want to see it destroyed and replaced with unsustainable high-density housing. Email: tomjgarland@aol.com

	We are passionate about the environment and hold the view that today's generation are the guardians of the countryside for future generations. We have one simple message "Don't build on our green spaces". If you want us to come and talk to you about what is happening come and knock on our door.
